Still Sweeter Every Day

This hymn was written by Rev. William Clark Martin around 1899. Martin was a Baptist preacher who pastored churches in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Florida. His other hymns include "I Remember Calvary," "My Anchor Holds," "My Father Watches Over Me," and "The Name of Jesus."  C. Austin Miles wrote the music. Miles wrote hundreds of songs, including "In the Garden," "I Know Whom I Have Believed," "Dwelling in Beulah Land," "A New Name in Glory," and "Wide, Wide as the Ocean."

Our family group here includes myself, Nathan Sarvis, playing banjo; next to me is my wife, Sherry; behind her, our daughter, Bonny, holding our grandson, Corban (featured on vocals!); to her right is her husband Kirk; next to him is my brother-in-law, Danny Loe; his wife, my sister Rebekah Loe is playing the piano. Seated behind her holding the music is their daughter, Susanna. Our son, Jubal, is playing violin; his wife, Alicia, is seated between Rebekah and Suzanna. Family friend, Lyle Howard, on guitar, completes the group. Jubal and Alicia's children can be heard occasionally in the video.
