Will There Be Any Stars?

Eliza E. Hewett was born in 1851 in Philadelphia. She began a teaching career but developed a spinal condition that severely limited her mobility, leaving her home bound. As a shut-in, she began writing poems for use in the children's programs of her church, eventually becoming a prolific hymn writer, penning the lyrics to thousands of hymns, including  such favorites as "When We All Get to Heaven," "Stepping in the Light," "Sunshine in My Soul," and "Will There Be Any Stars?".

Allison Krauss & The Cox Family recorded this on the album I Know Who Holds Tomorrow in 1994.
