Rev. George A. Young was a 19th century preacher who is remembered primarily because of this one song he wrote: "God Leads Us Along." Young served in small rural communities and worked as a carpenter because the salary he received for preaching wasn't enough to live on. His song of hope and trust in God has been inspiring believers for over a hundred years.
