Maybelle Carter, of the original Carter Family is probably the one individual who contributed most first to the preservation and then to the resurgence in popularity of the autoharp. John Carter Cash entitled his biography of his mother "Anchored In Love: An Intimate Portrait Of June Carter Cash."
It works better in a duet or group setting than as a solo, so the two parts in the chorus can be sung.
